The Lacombe Art Guild will be hosting local fibre artist Vicki Sullivan as she brings you a fun and creative evening of needle-felting, designed for all skill levels. This two-hour session will take place upstairs at the Lacombe Memorial Centre on May 12 from 6:45 to 8:45 pm. Whether you are a beginner or experienced in needle-felting, this class offers a freeform approach, allowing you to explore your creativity while learning how to render fur-like textures and developing your felting skills in a supportive environment.
One of the benefits of needle felting is the ability to experiment without commitment, as felted elements can be peeled away to adjust or try something different. You can expect to go home with an 8 x 10" felted artwork featuring an adorable spring animal. All materials are provided.
