About the day: Attendees will be automatically enrolled as a Lacombe Art Guild Member! Enjoy a catered lunch and a day of art out at Casey’s Cabin (located within the City of Lacombe). Bring a light medium that is easy to carry and clean up for the day - such as watercolours, pen and ink, or sketch! You will be able to paint indoors and outside, and will have the opportunity to be guided by a guest instructor (details to be announced). Attendees will also be entered into a door prize, and have the chance to win a draw or a gift basket throughout the day.
Parking is restricted – will clarify how many spots are available near the building
Attendees will automatically be entered into Door Prizes throughout the day, and also have a chance to win the Gift Basket Draw
Draw Times:
9am: Draw #1
Noon: Draw #2
4:30pm: Gift Basket Draw.
Breakdown of the day:
8:30am - 9am: Arrival, muffins, coffee/tea
9am - 11am: Workshop (details on instructor to be announced)
12pm - 1pm: Lunch, catered by Milly Oaks Cafe & Catering
1:30pm - 3:30pm: Plein Air workshop (weather dependent, details on instructor to be announced)
3:30pm - 4:30pm: free time to complete projects and visit
4:30pm - 5pm: retreat wrap up
Volunteer help is needed - if you are able to lend a hand please let us know!
Help will be needed to set up tables, make coffee and decorate in the early morning (but will investigate if this could be done on Friday afternoon….) At least 3 to 4 people.
A second crew of 4 or more are needed for clean-up – taking down tables, sweeping the floor, bagging garbage and transporting it away.
