Morning Class: Pastels are a fantastic medium to create beautiful florals! Learn how to block in your shapes with vine charcoal, followed by layering on colour using value and colour temperature. Sanded pastel paper is used to make a painterly, impressionist effect.
Supplies for the morning Floral Pastels Class:
Set of good quality soft (chalk) pastels (Sennelier, Shmincke, Unison, Nupastel) minimum of 24. The cheaper sets will not have good colour adhesion. Alternatively you can buy single pastels to make up your own set. Art stores often have sales on sets.
